How spearfishing is treated at Marine waters of Chile (mar territorial and zona económica exclusiva).

Marine spearfishing (pesca submarina) by free-diving (apnea) with elastic or compressed-air spears is permitted throughout Chilean marine waters with a valid SERNAPESCA recreational licence, subject to national catch limits (Res. Ex. 443-2025), species vedas of Law 18.892, and excluding marine reserves, marine parks and other protected/restricted areas.
