Overview
How spearfishing is treated at Outside the lagoon (waters seaward of the outer reef slope).
Spearfishing in breath-hold apnea is permitted outside the lagoon, beyond the start of the external slope of the barrier reef, subject to national rules. Practised by day, without underwater breathing apparatus. Excludes the passes, a 1-mile radius around any fish-aggregating device, and the Saziley protected site.
